During the winter months it is only the very brave that camp at Matroosberg, but so many of you have your own camping gear and to sit around and wait for summer can be a loooong wait.


So Matroosberg came up with a plan… indoor camping.
You still bring all your camping gear, but this time you can leave your tent at home.
We will provide you with the following:
A freestanding house with an inside fireplace / braaiplace.
Inside bathroom with hotwater shower and flush toilet
Beds and matresses for up to 12 people.

Electricity

What do you have to bring?

Your bedding and towels
Kitchen utensils, pots and pans, braai grid.
Dishwashing liquid
Toiletries.

What will this cost you?

Camping in our Private campsite where you get your private bathroom for the duration of your stay is R70 pppn, for the indoor camping, we will only charge R80pppn.
Enjoy a weekend getaway with a lovely indoor fireplace, beautiful surroundings, sleeping on a bed, no long ques for the bathroom and NO wet tents to pack after your stay for as little as R80 pppn.
